All things Breit and Balloontiful…

The Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Festival (PIHABF) is one of the most anticipated festivals in the country — both by avid aviators, flying enthusiasts and, of course, children!

The 2013 Hot Air Balloon Fiesta kicked off on Thursday, 21 February and ran until Sunday, 24 February.

The PIHABF was introduced in 1994 to boost Pampanga’s economy after the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo. Now on its 18th anniversary, it continues to attract, not only spectators, but pilots and aerial exhibitionists from all over the world!

The highlight of this year’s 18th Hot Air Balloon Fiesta was an aerobatic display of flying skills and chutzpah by the Breitling Jet Team from France. The Breitling Jet Team is the largest civilian aerobatic display team in Europe.

The Breitling Jet Team flew an aerial display lasting 18 to 20 minutes, which included close formation flying, opposition passes, solo routines and synchronized maneuvers.

Capping our Hot Air Balloon experience was a spectacular night glow and fireworks display:

About Seeing with Brahmin eyes
My sense of humor can be keen, sarcastic, silly or corny -- sometimes all at once. I enjoy meeting new people with no preconceived ideas about what or what is not possible. You get much more out of life by being open minded and willing. I'm an easy going, good-natured person who loves life and loves people. I'm both optimistic and realistic and pretty objective when it comes to assessing situations, events, etc. In general I am a very positive person and you'll usually find we with a smile on my face.
